Tin of biscuits goes missing from police station and officers report it as a crime
If you’ve ever had your lunch stolen at work then maybe you’ll be sympathetic to officers who reported a tin of biscuits missing from their police station in Devon.
No one knows who took the snacks from the location at Heavitree Road in Exeter but there have been rumours of an inside job.
The treats were last spotted in one of the kitchens and were just one of the strange items reported stolen along with a lace dress and hair tongs.
The incident has angered some people with several forum users saying the force should not be wasting their own time.
But a Devon and Cornwall police spokesman said they wanted all crimes to be reported.
‘In the spirit of openness and transparency these details are recorded and made available to the public through Freedom Of Information requests,’ he said.
